What is the best way to contact HOGLEG ARMORY?
Email is the most efficient method of communication. It is checked regularly and responded to as soon as possible. If you have already placed an order with HOGLEG ARMORY, please include your order number in the email.
What is the best way to order from HOGLEG ARMORY?
Placing your order online is the fastest way. If you are ordering firearms, but haven't chosen an FFL or you do not know your FFL's address and other information simply use your billing address for the order. Then after you have placed the order, contact the local dealer of your choice and have them fax a copy of their FFL to "HOGLEG ARMORY Attn: Bryon Howe" at 602-368-2003.
I've placed an order for a firearm but it still hasn't shipped, what is the hold up?
Most likely, we are waiting on the FFL from your dealer. Even if you have contacted your dealer and they have sent a transfer copy of their FFL, if we do not know what order this FFL relates to we cannot match the orders to the dealers without proper documentation. This ensures all orders go to the proper FFL. To speed this process up, when you contact your dealer, please ask them to include your NAME and ORDER NUMBER with the FFL.
How do I change an order I've already placed?
Send us an email with your name, order number and the products you wish to cancel. If you'd like to add an item to your order, the fastest way to secure that product is to place a second order. We'll do our best to ship your orders together; just reference your first order in the "Notes" field.
Your website shows that a certain item is in stock, is it really in stock?
HOGLEG ARMORY has an inventory management. As new items are received, in stock numbers will climb, and as items are sold, quantities will drop. We make every effort to make sure these numbers are accurate. If you have a high demand item in your shopping cart that is nearly out of stock, you may want to check out as soon as possible. Just because you have the item in your shopping cart doesn't mean that someone else doesn't as well. With this current state of demand, many of our AR15 related products are in stock for a few minutes and then they are sold out again. This item is currently out of stock, when will it be back in stock? Right now the demand for many of our products far exceeds the availability. Most of our manufacturers and distributors are currently unable to give accurate delivery schedules for resupply. In short, we don't always know when we'll be back in stock.
I just placed an order, when will it ship?
We do our best to ship orders within 24 hours of being placed. During times of high demand like special sales, promotions, or new product launches, we may be backlogged as much as 48-72 hours. HOGLEG ARMORY's staff strives to get your order processed as fast as we possibly can. If your order includes a firearm, there may be additional delays due to coordinating FFLs with your receiving dealer.
I am having trouble finalizing my order, why won't it accept confirmation?
The two most common occurrences of order difficulty are out of stock items and incorrect addresses. If you have placed an item in your shopping cart that we are out of stock, your order cannot be completed. With the unpredictability of resupply, we do not wish to promise an item that may be 6 months away. If all of your desired items are in stock and you are still having difficulty checking out, you may have an error in your billing address. For your protection, our payment authorization system verifies your address with the billing address on file with your card issuer. If there is a discrepancy, it will not let your order go through. I purchased an item for full price, and later the price dropped. Am I entitled to a refund or some sort of compensation?
No. Market conditions are constantly changing and as a result prices fluctuate both up and down. If the price goes up after purchase we don't come after you for the difference in what you paid and the new price. The price you paid at the time of purchase is indicative of the price at the time, what occurs afterward has no bearing on your transaction.
I live in a state that restricts my magazine capacity but I want to order a firearm that includes high capacity magazines. What do I do?
As HOGLEG ARMORY is located in Arizona, we do not generally stock reduced capacity (10 round) magazines. If you choose to order a firearm that includes magazines that are greater than your city or state allows, we must remove these magazines from your order. Because of the low wholesale value of the magazines we cannot offer a credit towards those items.
I'd like to order a handgun, why is the shipping so expensive?
All major shipping carriers require that handguns be shipped "fastest possible method", which usually means Overnight or Next Day Air. This is the policy of UPS, as well as FedEx, DHL, and USPS. This is a policy that we must follow to continue shipping products to our customers.
Can I place a special order for an item?
Many companies have put a halt on all special orders at this time, and some companies that are still honoring special orders are looking at a 6 month delay time. Your best bet is to send us an email regarding the special order you would like to place, if the company is accepting them we would be happy to place a special order for you. Please keep in mind that all special orders need to be paid in full at the time of order, not at the time of delivery.

Policy on Tax Exempt Purchases
Purchasing for Resale: If a customer is purchasing product for the purposes of resale WITHIN THE STATE OF ARIZONA they do not pay tax on the item. The end user is responsible for paying tax. HOGLEG ARMORY will request a faxed or mailed copy of two documents from a customer in order to complete a sale as tax exempt. The first document is a copy of the TPT (Transaction Privilege Tax) License. The second is the Arizona Form 5000, filled out completely. Under reason for exemption, box #1 must be checked. *If the item purchased is a firearm, HOGLEG ARMORY will also request a copy of the customer's FFL number.
Tax Exempt Entity: If a customer states that they are not purchasing items for resale, but they are in fact tax exempt, HOGLEG ARMORY needs a faxed or mailed exemption form from the Arizona Department of Revenue.
Out of State Sales: Out of state sales (any state other than Arizona) are exempt from sales tax. The customer's "ship to" address must be an out of state address.

GENERAL PRODUCT RETURN INFORMATION:
Customer Satisfaction is our #1 goal. If you are not happy with our products or service and you need to return a product, please let us know and we will make every reasonable effort to satisfy you. All new items sold have a 3-day inspection period from time of receipt. If you are not completely satisfied with your order upon arrival, we will refund your money or exchange the item, less a 15% restocking fee. A Return Authorization Number must be obtained from us within the 3-day inspection period. Then, the NEW or UNUSED item must be returned to us within 15 days from the date received. Return shipping charges will not be refunded. Do not ship items C.O.D. as they will be refused. This general product return policy does not apply to items sold As-Is (used or out of production). This general product return policy does not apply to firearms, suppressors, and/or ammunition. To receive a refund or exchange:
Obtain a Return Authorization Number by e-mailing us at mailto:sales@HogLeg Armory.com within the 3-day inspection period. Be sure to include your customer information and original order number. This is necessary to ensure your returned package is received and processed properly. You may contact us by telephone; however your return will be processed more quickly via e-mail because of the efficiency of our automated computer systems.
We will e-mail you back with a Return Authorization Number.
The NEW or UNUSED item must be returned in its original packaging within 15 days from the date received and the item must not show any wear, usage, or intentional damage. If we determine that any returned item is not in sellable condition we will return it to you and no refund or exchange will be made. Please include a copy of the original receipt and Return Authorization Number prominently displayed on your return.
If a product is being exchanged, normal shipping charges will be applied when the new item is sent to you.
The returns department requests that we allow 1-2 weeks turnaround time for the issuance of a refund or for the shipping of an exchange.
Original shipping charges, insurance, delivery confirmation charges, and/or credit card fees are not refunded. The following will prohibit a full refund:
Returned items without original packaging
Items (product) that have been modified, abused, show wear, or have any intentional damage
Items returned without a Return Authorization Number
In accordance with Federal Law every gun purchase must be approved via a background check. We must receive the merchandise back in the same condition as we shipped it to qualify to receive a refund.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to be aware of his or her ability to pass a federal NICS check. It is the responsibility of the interstate purchaser to be aware of the laws of their state regarding the legality of receiving any item.
New products are guaranteed to be free of defects. Used (As-Is) items are guaranteed to be as advertised. Although we visually check each item for any apparent defects before it's shipped, we do ask that you immediately check your merchandise upon arrival. If the items appear defective, or do not function properly, please contact the manufacturer. Most products sold are covered by the manufacturer's warranty and requires items to be sent directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair, not to HOGLEG ARMORY. We are not a warranty repair station for any manufacturer. In some instances, we can provide manufacturer contact information. In the rare case we made a mistake on your order for example, sent the wrong item, we can issue a return services label so you will not pay return freight charges to send the item back to us.
If an item is damaged during shipment, please keep all materials (boxes, packing lists, labels and merchandise included with the shipment.) - This assists the claims process. Open and inspect all your items immediately upon arrival. If the package was damaged in shipment, please call FedEx to initiate the claims process.
Shipping / Pickup
Delivery Options for the United States
UPS® is our preferred shipping provider and will be used whenever possible. Customers may choose from a variety of delivery options such as ground, 3-day select, express saver, 2-day, and overnight. Shipping rates are automatically calculated upon checkout.
HogLeg Armory does not ship internationally.
Orders will be shipped upon authorization and verification of credit card information. Your credit card will not be billed until after merchandise is shipped.
Out-of-stock items or items drop-shipped from our suppliers CANNOT be guaranteed express delivery.
Handguns MUST be shipped overnight.
UPS® will not deliver to a Post Office Box.
UPS® requires that ALL handguns be shipped overnight, and that all ammunition be shipped separately by ground. Because of this, HOGLEG ARMORY will never ship firearms and ammunition in the same parcel.
If part of your order is out of stock, we will ship the available merchandise via the delivery service for which you paid. When the out-of-stock item becomes available, it will be shipped via Standard Ground Service at no cost to you.
Sales Tax is charged on total merchandise (excluding shipping) for orders delivered to AZ.
In some cases, HOGLEGARMORY.com may offer free shipping on selected items. Free shipping is available to lower 48 states only. HOGLEG ARMORY reserves the right to change or modify a free shipping option on product at any time.
HOGLEGARMORY.com and its shipping carriers do not permit customer to contact shipper and reroute packages once order has been placed.

If customer contacts shipper to attempt to reroute, provide a different delivery address, forward package, or place package on Will Call shipper will immediately return the package to HOGLEGARMORY.com the customer acknowledges that they will not receive a refund of any shipping charges.
HOGLEG ARMORY.com will allow customer to reroute if customer contacts HogLegArmory.com directly (additional fee may apply).
Delivery Time Frames
90% of our orders are shipped with our next day's processing. In the case of an out of stock condition, please allow an absolute minimum of 14 business days for delivery. Every attempt is made to receive, process and ship an out of stock item within 3 weeks. Sometimes the manufacturer or our suppliers will run out of a particular item, causing a significant delay. If an out of stock item is not received in 4 weeks, contact us and we will research and explain the particulars and offer some possible alternatives.
