BASIC DESCRIPTION

The TASER C2 is a self-defense electronic control device. Utilizing the same technology as our proven law enforcement models. Electronic Control Devices (ECDs) use propelled wires to conduct energy to affect the sensory and motor functions of the nervous system. In addition, the TASER C2 can be used as a direct contact stun device. The TASER C2 uses a replaceable TASER cartridge, containing compressed nitrogen, to deploy two small probes that are attached to the TASER C2 by insulated conductive wires with a maximum length of 15 feet (4.5 meters). The energy can penetrate up to two cumulative inches of clothing or one inch per probe.

The probes which are ejected from the TASER C2 can stop an attacker from up to 15 ft. away.
The TASER C2 uses the same proven technology of the X26 law enforcement model, at a fraction of the cost.
The TASER C2 will run for 30 seconds when the activation button is pressed, allowing you enough time to set the device down and get to safety.
As long as the probes and wires are still in place, the activation button can be pressed again for an additional 30 second cycle or stopped by closing the safety cover.
The TASER C2 can also be used as a contact (drive-stun) device even after the probes are ejected or without a cartridge in place.
Each TASER C2 cartridge contains 20-30 AFID (Anti-Felon Identification tags). These serialized confetti-like tags are used by law enforcement to track the cartridge to its owner, ensuring accountability for its use.
The lithium battery has a 10 year shelf life and is capable of 50+ 30 second cycles.

RETAILER

Retailer is not responsible for registration of the TASER C2 device itself.
Retailer is required (at the time of sale) to remove the AFID card from the replacement cartridge pack, fill it out and mail it to TASER International (postage is pre-paid).
To register and activate the unit, the buyer must go online to www.TASER.com or call our toll free number 1-888-827-3788. The buyer must be 18 years or older and required to pass a felony background check through TASER in order to receive the activation code.
$9.95 is the cost of the required background check. Up to 10 units may be activated at one time.
The owner is then given a 5-digit code that will 'unlock' the device. The code is put in through the safety cover/activation switch on the top of the C2 device.
The TASER C2 is currently prohibited in 7 states. New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Michigan, Wisconsin and Hawaii (and cannot be taken out of the country). Always check with local laws.

LIFETIME REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE

When the TASER C2 device is used for self-protection and left at the scene, send us a copy of the police report documenting the incident and we will replace your unit free of charge.
